
As a founding member of Rock Water, Yoni Benimetzky focuses on acquisitions, negotiations and financing. His other responsibilities include sourcing, vetting and underwriting new ventures. Mr. Benimetzky has been intimately involved in real estate transactions exceeding 200M dollars as an investor/facilitator from 2010 to 2017. His experience in complex multi-owner land assemblages, foreclosures, auctions, note purchases, to simple cash flowing multi-family assets have given him a comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry and its' many facets.
Benimetzky was born in Israel and emigrated with his family to the US when he was in high-school. Yoni attended the University of Florida and graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Building Construction. He also minored in both Real Estate and Business. As an involved member of his college he was a school senator and a member of the prestigious Florida Blue Key honor society.
Together with his partner Carlos Castillejo, they realized the great potential for real estate acquisitions in South Florida due to the favorable circumstances created by the 2008 crash. They ventured out to acquire a portfolio of “value add” real estate. After successfully adding value to each unique asset, they profitably disposed of their holdings.Yoni’s commitment to thorough due diligence and conservative underwriting as well as a “hands on” operation, has facilitated profitable investment results. With an open eye to the ever-changing market Yoni has been quick to adapt in order to maintain a high level of return.

Carlos Castillejo serves as Chief Executive Officer of Rock Water, a private investment firm that focuses on value-add real estate opportunities throughout the country.
Mr. Castillejo began his career in real estate working for Crescent Heights, one of the nation’s premier real estate companies over 30 years ago. Since that time, and under the direction and guidance of the company’s chairman, he has been involved in the underwriting, acquisition, management, development and disposition of a myriad of real estate assets and classes. His career began selling individual residential condominium units and transitioned into executive management positions for projects throughout the country. The breadth of his experience ranges from positions overseeing condominium sales to being Director of Finance in ensuring the closings of end user purchases.
His roles as Project Manager have included executing one of the largest condominium conversion projects in the U.S. and subsequently serving as a Regional Manager for Crescent Heights. In this role, he was responsible for spearheading the acquisition and conversion of rental apartment properties into condominiums units throughout the country; including projects in Hawaii, California, Texas, and Florida. Beginning in 2006, Mr. Castillejo assisted in the company’s mandate to divest itself from a majority of its real estate holdings throughout the country. In 2009, Mr. Castillejo was appointed Crescent Heights Director of Acquisitions. By anticipating the impending market crash, divesting of its holdings, and being financially sound, the company positioned itself to acquire distressed assets throughout the world. Mr. Castillejo focused on sourcing, vetting, due diligence, financing, and closing of deals. Acquisitions during his tenure ranged from land, office, multi-family, hotel and notes in MMAs throughout the U.S. as well as certain international acquisitions. His role led to his establishing relationships with groups and individuals throughout the industry as he was directly involved transactions in the billions of dollars of real estate throughout his career.

Lina Tusa is the Managing Director and head of Asset Management for Rock Water Capital, with responsibility for asset management, operations, reporting and special projects at the firm.
Tusa has over 10 years of experience in real estate asset management, portfolio management, design, sales and marketing. As Managing Director, she has successfully managed the renovation process and lease up of multi-family properties throughout South Florida.
Tusa brings significant value in the company’s ability to focus on maximizing operating performance, as well as business plan execution. Her success as Operations Manager has been based on performing thorough due diligence, developing a comprehensive strategy and executing with precision focus.
